RESISTOR is the rock quartet of Steve Unruh, Fran Turner, Barry Farrands, and Rob Winslow. The band's sound is characterized by merging modern progressive and rock song structures with an organic classic rock sound. Their classic rock sound is probably due to their preferred recording technique of having everyone play the basic tracks in the same room at the same time, like bands did the "old days." This allows RESISTOR's recorded music to "breathe," as you can hear the band members adjust to each others' energy, tempo, and feel in real-time.

ED SAND was created by guitarist Simon Caron, a self-proclaimed David Gilmour, Andy Latimer, Steven Rothery, IQ, BB KING and Albert COLLINS fan. At age 18, he started a couple of progressive rock bands (FÉNIX and OCÉAN) and then left the music scene for a while. Unable to stay away from prog very long, however, he started to write again, searched for a band to perform his music and was soon surrounded by seasoned musicians most willing to oblige. Thus RED SAND was born. There has been a few personnel changes since and the band now consists of Caron himself on guitar, assisted by classically trained vocalist Stéphane Dorval, ex-DAGMAHR keyboard player Pierre Massicotte, renowed Québec bassist Mathieu Gosselin and (newcomer) drummer Perry Angellilo. They released a first album in 2004 titled 'Mirror of Insanity" and then a second a year later called "Gentry". All music and lyrics are penned by Caron. Highly recommended if you're into early MARILLION, PENDRAGON, ARENA, CLEPSYDRA or SHADOWLAND.

A neo-progressive rock band from England. Taking their cues and influences from the pioneers of the genre in the 70s and 80s they bring the sound right up to date combining soaring and emotive vocals, thought provoking lyrics, consummate and evocative musicianship and melodies that linger long after the music stops. Before taking the pilgrimage to the prog monastery where they learned their craft, the guys in the band had regular jobs. Pete spent 11 years testing the reflections in mirrors. Marcus was self employed as a theme-butler for hire. He does a brilliant Tattoo from Fantasy Island 'The plane! The plane!' Al was employed to measure cats for surveys. Jevo wound the sea lions up at Seaworld thus making them put on a spirited performance, mainly by insulting their mothers, and Mark was a periscope.
